The Northrop Grumman RQ-4B Global Hawk is a surveillance Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) with a low wing capable of enduring flights on high altitudes. This V-tailed aircraft has a turbofan engine with an extended high-aspect ratio wing. This is the Global Hawk family’s standard version under the United States Air Force development plans. The very first variant of the RQ Global Hawk made its first flight in 2007. During this time, there were already deliveries being settled to the United States Air Force.
