The F-15 Eagle is a twin-engine tactical air fighter. Designed by McDonnell Douglas with the intent to produce an airplane for aerial combat, the F15 was first introduced in 1972. Four decades later, the Eagle aircraft is still seen serving the United States Air Force, Israel Air Force, Royal Saudi Air Force and Japan Air Self-Defense Force. Its success is all thanks to the F-15 aircraft’s design, which included a secondary attack capability and an all-weather strike derivative. The F-15 Eagle owes its maneuverability and high-speed to its low wing loading which gives it the ability to fly for up to 30,000 feet in sixty seconds.
