Hand-carved from mahogany wood, this A-10 Thunderbolt II reflects the colors, markings, and structural configuration of the real aircraft.
The A-10 Thunderbolt II has a reputation for being one of the toughest and most fearsome US Air Force aircraft. This attack aircraft was used for heavy close air support. With its GAU-8 Avenger Gatling gun, the Warthog (as it’s affectionately called) can pierce through tanks and other heavily armored vehicles with ease. This particular variant of the Thunderbolt II was used by the 75th Fighter Squadron (nickname Tiger Sharks).
